About
Evidence, not guesses.
Image Provenance Checker is a small, privacy-first utility for inspecting information already embedded in an image file.
What it checks
The tool reads C2PA / Content Credentials when present, plus common EXIF metadata such as camera information, software, capture time, dimensions, and GPS coordinates.
What it does not do
It does not classify pixels as “AI” or “human.” Missing Content Credentials do not prove human authorship, and EXIF metadata can be removed, modified, or forged.
